While it too was to participate in the great global mass of technology, the Deltrian company, based in Fleurus, however, had to stay at home.

“The person in charge of being present on site, who had prepared everything, finally caught the Covid the day before departure…”, laments Jean Kalyvas, marketing manager at Deltrian. The irony could make you smile: the coronavirus prevents Deltrian from making the trip to Las Vegas, while it is thanks to the virus that the company experienced a big boom in its activities with its production of masks.

"The circle is complete: our DNA is and remains air filtration. "

However, this absence does not undermine the ambitions and motivation of the company. “The circle is complete: our DNA is and remains air filtration. After launching the production of the masks, we are committed to improving our processes and the quality of our masks to fight against masks from Asian countries. On this principle, we collaborated to bring to light THE virucidal mask. And we found a way to bring this technology to our air filters! », rejoices Jean Kalyvas. It is this technology that Deltrian intended to present at CES.

This virucidal system contains a filter that captures and neutralizes viruses up to 99% (Covid or others). “Viruses in the filtered air are inactivated. The system is effective in both dry and humid environments, and reduces the risk of transmission and proliferation of viruses and bacteria in the air,” Deltrian adds. The technology is applied to masks but also to air handling units, in particular in offices, workshops, hospitals and clinics, laboratories, schools, etc., even on existing installations, “without the need for modifications” .

This virucidal filter is already used by a Deltrian customer, the Swedish company Systemair. “It is an important client, which has many branches all over the world”,, notes Jean Kalyvas.

The American trade show CES could therefore have been an opportunity for Deltrian to score a big blow at the global level. But others are already on the calendar, with visits to France and Germany.
