With over 20 years of prior experience in the field of filtration, Sophia brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role. Hailing from China, she embraced the challenges of understanding Belgian culture head-on, bringing a unique perspective to our diverse team.
Starting as a sales assistant, Sophia’s journey with Deltrian has been one of continuous growth. Through her dedication and talent, she progressed to become a purchase manager, mastering the intricacies of procurement. Her outstanding performance led her to assume the role of Purchase Director, where she showcased her exceptional leadership skills.

When it comes to reliability, Sophia goes above and beyond the call of duty. For her, being reliable is not simply about showing up; it’s about consistently going the extra mile, exceeding expectations, and delivering exceptional results.
Sophia’s exceptional leadership skills and her ability to effectively manage our plant operations in Belgium have contributed significantly to our success. FUN FACT ABOUT DELTRIAN
During a business trip to China, I accompanied my colleagues Cédric and Thierry, who were like children, completely lost ! I had to look after them at all times, so they started calling me “Mama”.
Since then, this nickname has stuck in our company and my colleagues continue to affectionately call me “Mama”. It’s become a symbol of the close bond and family atmosphere in our workplace.
So, if you hear someone affectionately call me “Mama”, you now know the heart-warming story behind it.
